Leander Beauty Supply is the brain child of native Austinite and local Councilwoman Na'Cole Thompson. Ms. Thompson has watched her community shrink and be pushed into Austin's surrounding suburbs along with cultural resources like beauty supply stores. 

Ms. Thompson saw a need for a local spot for her community to gather, organize and shop for beauty products close to home and worked with her husband to establish the store. Leander Beauty Supply is a convenient, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing space where Black women and others can get expert advice and help with their hair and skin.
